Sharing new Idea is always an opportunity

Sometimes happens that someone asks me: “Why do you decide to share your Ideas? Aren’t you afraid that the people, finding them good, can steal them?”.

This is not my point of view! I think that sharing my Ideas I can grow up myself! I have the opportunity to make advertising, branding myself. The people reading my post may understand who I am.

There is someone that could copy my post! But I’m proud of this! It means that I’m doing a good job, and the people are reading my blog!

To clarify this an example should come from Logic+Emotion. It’s a blog that, by the Experience Map post, has seen growing up own popularity! I really suggest to read this post, if you believe that the Web 2.0 is the next Big Innovation!

“…It didn’t matter that I was a “nobody”. The only thing that mattered was the content. Create something of value-and it will be distributed. Create something of no value-and you’ll be talking to yourself…”

“…I gave something away. What I got back was worth so much more..

ThreadlessThreadless is a big community, that with the Web 2.0 and Viral Marketing concept developed its great business. Simply it’s a e-shop were the people can buy T-shirt designed by the the user-generated content! I mean anyone can send his/her t-shirt model, then will be the community voting and visiting the website that decided the best Design! But let me explain how it works:

At every time the Threadless site encourage visitors to partecipate, come back and bring their friends! The key success is that each visitor of the site is a potential buyer! The Designer invites friends online to vote for their shirts. Friends are often artistic and submit their own designs. Buyers earn purchase credit by inviting friends. Wearers photographed modeling shirts earn more credits. Visitors come to the site to check out new photos.

The stream of traffic generated by this viral-marketing engine is impressive! This is an example like the Web 2.0 should be a business opportunity for all!

I was forgetting: the lucky artists that win the challenge each get $2,000 in cash and merchandising! Not so bad for an user generated content!

Its (strange) name is Faucet Vcast and it’s a simple and effective Web-based italian TV-recording service of the Digital Terrestrial Channels.
Behind a simple and essential web interface, there’s a useful service indeed. Simply insert a new recording request and come back later to donwload the mp4 file.

The customer choose freely the Channel, the recording start and end time. When the record is over, it is available like a dedicated podcatest for the subscribers!
It’s Web based PVR, that works very well! I suggest to try it soon.

Faucet allows you to record your favourite broadcast and receive them as podcasts, to be watched whenever and wherever on your personal player. The video content are on Mp4 format, while the radio podcast contents are on mp3.

The TV channels available are:

  • 9 RAI channels: more the three major national channels are available RAI Notizie24, RAI SportSat, RAI Edu, RAI NettunoSat 1 e 2, RAI DocFutura
  • Camera dei Deputati
  • Rete, Canale5, Italia 1, Boing, Media Shopping
  • La7 e MTV
  • All Music, Repubblica Tv
  • Cctv9, SiLive24, SportItalia, ClassNews, BBC World, Telemarket, SitcomUno, Qoob, Sat2000, Arcoiris, TeleRadioPadrePio (:O), RTL2, SuperRtl, DeutscheWelleTv
  • videoregistratore_web_programmi_tv_preferiti_1.jpgIt’s an example of Web 2.0, but is it also a business opportunity?

ReviewMe to make money by blogging

reviewme.jpgReviewMe help bloggers make money by blogging and help advertisers to increase site traffic, get feedback and promote their products via bloggers.

You can find all the detail to the LiewCF blog where I found this very interesting post!

It’s very simple, an advertising chooses reviewers (bloogers) for a product review and it cannot ask for a positive review! For the bloggers is another way to make money online. To apply for ReviewMe blogger account, you must have enough site traffic, rankings and feed subscribers.

I like the concept of ReviewMe and the payout is good (minimum $20), so a very good oppurtinity for the bloggers. The key is the Revenue sharing: ReviewMe share with the blogger in the same part the earning, and for the advertisere there are feedback, new free ideas to implement in the launch phase, advertiser link (and raising of the websearch motor) comments and opinions easy to monitoring. Therefore, viral marketing to maximum power!

Actually my blog doesn’t have the minimum requirement to enjoy in this adventure, but I find anyway useful share with my readers this great business opportunity

    Sonopia, MVNO: Why?

I’m thinking about like Sonopia or the MVNO could bring a new wind of innovation between the investor and the new fresh mind.

It’s not only a money concern but even a personal satisfaction for an unimaginable success. I mean, three years ago nobody dreamed to begin a Cingular or a Tim competitor! Now it should be real!

How it works is simple: for the MVNO like in Italy (i.e. CoopVoce and UnoMobile) with a modest investment a company can be a new player in the TLC market. Saving advertising resources,  R&D, network (i.e. for the coverage or the maintenance) they can offer competitive plans to their customers!

    Money and cellular phone

The advertising is replaced in my opinion in two way:

The Italian method is to propose to own customers, in their shopping mall for example, the service. There are a good opportunity for a co-marketing or for the cross selling with the fidelity card, very common in the customers. They could propose, with a good marketing move, a Coca-cola plans, for example, that offer branded but free SMS with a monthly subscription. The MVNO have twice bargain from the co-marketing operation, it would be like if it sell advertise, and from the ARPU increased.

The Branding method, for SONOPIA market, is to have a good and big brand to communicate trust to the potential customers. With a good brand the cross selling promotion should be a good way to customer fidelity. In Web 2.0 this means that the goal is to find a lot of people with the same interest and share a new opportunity for a community to start.

What do you think on my construction?

    Sonopia: the next step

    Dear all,

I’m a new blogger so I hope you forgive my late for this big and great news

    .

    Sonopia

Sonopia has launched a virtual mobile operator service in the US, enabling anyone to launch mobile services. Those services include up-to-date mobile phones, competitive calling plans, reliable network coverage, premium voice and data services and online sign-up and service activation.

Sonopia-powered mobile carriers are called “a Sonopia“. Sonopia handles all the backend details for its partners’ branded mobile services - from provisioning service to delivering handsets, from helping identify potential subscribers to managing monthly billing, from creating marketing materials to handling customer care by dedicated, trained customer care agents based within the United States. Sonopia works with its partners on a revenue-sharing basis, each party gets a portion of the money generated by subscribers’ monthly usage fees.

I took the inspiration about two of my favourite blogger: Luca and Dotdust

Ok, I can’t quite guarantee you will become a media magnate overnight. But we can dream at least! [Clarification: While it doesn't cost you anything to set up your carrier, you only get between three and eight percent of your subscribers' monthly payments, depending on how many subscribers you have.]

In Italy the mvno (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) is launched by the retail chain COOP. Telecom Italia is providing COOP with nationwide mobile network technology infrastructure. COOP will be setting its own pricing and rolling out a range of sales offerings. Carrefour a supermarket chain will launch UnoMobile and the Italian Postal Operator Poste Italiane will also launch, both using the Vodafone network for access

    UnoMobile

    CoopVoce

Just to know MVNO look the link to Wikipedia and this one with definitions very useful to better understand how it works!

    Thinking, thinking, thinking

    My Football Club

Hi all! Are you ready for a new revolution?

Supporters can now buy their own football club and manage it their own way. MyFootballClub is a new initiative aiming at giving fans responsibility for decision making. Taking over from where football management games leave off, ‘MyFootballClub’ aims to bridge the gap between the owners and the fans of football clubs. The website - http://www.myfootballclub.co.uk- offers registered members the chance to buy a share in a football club for an annual £35 registration fee, less than the cost of a match ticket at many Premier League clubs. Of this, £27.50 will go towards purchasing a team in one of England’s top seven divisions, the club purchased reflecting member votes and the purchase fund available. When total membership reaches 50,000, MyFootballClub will begin the process of buying a club. With that, a dream will be turned into reality for MyFootballClub founder Will Brooks, who describes the project to Play the Game as “the opportunity to try something revolutionary and see what impact a large group of fans - with channelled passion, knowledge and finances - can have on the fortunes of a small club.”

I think it’s a wonderful idea. You can Buy the team, pick the team, buy the players, manage the finance! Is it enough?

I’d like to discuss about it if you are interested! Let me know! I’m just registered! :)

    Web 2.0

    Dear all,

this is my first post written with Zoundry a new interesting tool found on the Web 2.0 magic world! For the blogger the Web 2.0 is a big fortune that helps them for all!

Below you can find some points to recap the main aspect of this important web evolution (font Wikipedia):

    • “Network as platform” - delivering (and allowing users to use) applications entirely through a browser.
    • Users owning the data on the site and exercising control over the data.
    • An architecture of participation that encourages users to add value to the application as they use it. This stands in sharp contrast to hierarchical access-control in applications, in which systems categorize users into roles with varying levels of functionality.
    • A rich, interactive, user-friendly interface.
    • Some social-networking aspects.
    • Enhanced graphical interfaces such as gradients and rounded corners.

Zoundry enables to the blogger to write and to manage own world offline, freely and friendly. But I took this concern because is important for me share about the next steps for a new Idea!

Jogging + tourist guide = New Business

Simply two words, that sounds like no friendly. But a new point of view should change our Idea on it.

There a lot of touristic attraction to visit each City. Open Bus for example, or old horse carriage, just to see the vacation place in a differente way! But we can do better with this new idea! :-)

It needs thinking about a tourist guide that with a microphone follows his route with 3/4 tourist. A route that could be different for different needing. I mean easy or difficult, long or short, park or art different route for different demand. This idea should be replicated in each big City like Rome, Paris, Berlin, New York, Barcelona, etc. for a NEW, COOL, OUTLANDISH touristic experience.Jogging

Browsing on Internet i found a similar experience called Sightjog that say: The only thing you need is a pair of running shoes… we’ll take care of everything else. Our highly experienced trainers will take you for a run through a Rome you will hardly ever expect to see by yourself.

Feel free to say your opinion on it
